Welcome to HashStake’s first Weekly Update on the Hedera Ecosystem

Hello to you all, and welcome to our first weekly update, where we will be sharing news on everything surrounding Hedera and HashStake. 

Let’s get started!

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is now a council member. In 2022 Hedera Governing Council member, eftpos joined with BPAY Group and NPP Australia to form Australian Payments Plus (AP+). As such, AP+ is now a member of the Hedera Governing Council, effective immediately. AP+ has over 150 partner institutions and processed 3.9 billion transactions in 2022.

Banksocial.io ($BSL) has migrated from the Ethereum Network to Hedera. You can now trade $BSL live on SaucerSwap. Their token ID is 0.0.4431990.

VMO America participated at the Vietnam Blockchain Seminar and presented a CBDC solution for Vietnam – built on the Hedera network using the recent Hedera Stablecoin Studio. VMO Group is one of the biggest IT companies in Vietnam. They have previously engaged with Hedera and THA for different projects as well.

The HBAR foundation has announced that KwikPik is using the Hedera based Delivery-as-a-service (DaaS) and has launched on the Hedera Mainnet to drive financial inclusion throughout Africa. More info can be found here

SaucerSwap TVL Surpasses 1 Billion HBAR. SaucerSwap’s Total Value Locked has reached a record high, surpassing 1 billion HBAR. This TVL is equivalent to 3.027% of HBAR’s circulating supply. SaucerSwap now ranks as the 23rd Top DEX in TVL, according to DeFiLlama.

Reality+ chooses Hedera to Mint, Sell, And Trade digital collectibles for global brands and IP.

On january 23rd, the Hedera testnet has been successfully upgraded to v0.46.0.

At last, let’s show an overview of the Hedera network from last week.

– The current staking APY continues to drop, and sits currently at 0.718% (Max 2.5%). This means if you hold 1K HBAR, you will be receiving 0.0197 HBAR daily.

– With a staggering 826.2 million transactions, an average TPS of 1370+ and a max TPS of 4229, Hedera has blown the competition out of the water.

– This week’s average consensus time is 3.18 seconds.

– More than 42.860 accounts were created last week.

– The Hedera network has maintained a 100% uptime.

– HBAR has dropped to $0.07142, a decrease of -1.78% from last week.

– HashStake has done 819 transactions this week
